Honoring Courage. Supporting Futures.

The Bernadine Casseus Transgender Laureate Program is dedicated to uplifting transgender and gender-diverse individuals whose work advances dignity, justice, and community care.

Named in honor of Marie-Adélina’s late aunt, the program recognizes trans leaders, creatives, advocates, and visionaries whose contributions foster empowerment, visibility, and meaningful change—often in the face of systemic barriers.

What the Program Supports

The Laureate Program provides support for initiatives that may include:

→  Advocacy and community organizing

→  Cultural, artistic, and educational projects

→  Research, storytelling, and public education

→  Mutual aid and community care efforts

→  Leadership development and civic engagement

Support may take the form of financial awards, project funding, public recognition, and institutional support.
